Description
RUBPLA PU EU-90 is a high-quality ester-based polyurethane rubber sheet developed for applications where the very highest mechanical demands are placed. This quality is distinguished by its exceptional wear resistance, very high tensile strength, and extreme tear resistance.Compared to softer PU grades, the 90 Shore version offers very high dimensional stability and compressive strength. In addition, the material offers almost plastic-like robustness while retaining its elastic properties, and is resistant to light oils, greases, certain solvents, ozone, and aging.
In short: an extremely wear-resistant and maximum load-bearing polyurethane for the heaviest industrial applications.
Application
- Heavily loaded wear plates and protective plates
- Scrapers and wipers (high load)
- Transport and bulk handling applications
- Seams under high pressure load
- Machine building and heavy industry
- Applications with extreme wear and impact load
Choose RUBPLA PU EU-90 if you are looking for:
- maximum wear resistance
- extreme mechanical load capacity
- very high pressure resistance and dimensional stability
- long service life under severe industrial conditions
- a solution where PU 70 and PU 80 are insufficient
- an almost synthetic-like robustness with elastic properties
Note: Not intended for high temperatures (> +80°C), strong acids and bases, or heavy chemical loads.
Ester-based PU is less suitable for:
Prolonged contact with water, humid environments, hot or wet processes, and hydrolysis-sensitive applications.
