A Flexcited hose is the logical choice when you are looking for a hose developed from practical experience in industrial applications. A good example is the NARCORFLEX® IBSH (Industrial Bulk Service Hose), which evolved into today's NARCORFLEX® ABRADURA. The aim was to combine two hoses, a flexible working hose and a transfer hose, into a single rubber hose that is lightweight, flexible and wear-resistant. Thanks to the construction of the helix and plies, the hose stays round and smooth inside even in a bend, so abrasive media do not wear through the lining. Every hose can be recognised by the FLEXCITED® marking, followed by the construction line and product name, such as FLEXCITED® FLOWINTUBE® VAPORTOR. Rubber hoses also carry an embossing: a relief print in the rubber that remains visible even when a printed marking has worn off. It includes the name of the hose, the size and the manufacturing code, which shows the quarter and year in which the hose was produced. This makes the origin of every Flexcited hose traceable. Because Flexcited is SCHIEMA's own brand, SCHIEMA decides which hoses are kept in stock. The principle is that what is shown on the website is actually in stock. As a result, Flexcited hoses are often available immediately, rather than only after a lead time of several months.
